Dear Families, Students and Community Members,
Welcome to Carlton Primary School.
At Carlton Primary School, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child is known, valued and supported to achieve their personal best. We believe that all students can learn and thrive when high expectations are combined with strong relationships, effective teaching and a genuine sense of belonging.

At Carlton Primary School, we deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0, ensuring students develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and critical thinking while fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning. To support our students in becoming confident readers and writers, we implement Phonics Plus, an evidence-based approach to explicit phonics instruction that helps students build the essential skills required for reading success.
